Subconscious bursts of color and form lead me to alternative abstractions. The exploration of a new bliss––large or small––starts on paper. Automatically my pursuit becomes a system with guidelines and direction. Aerial views of the earth’s surface, cosmic gardens, and the stars above––these angelic nothings emerge into imagined everythings. Obsessive repetitions and vibrant explosions of lines, waves, curves, dots, webs, and squares in jellyroll pen and Sharpie marker erupt into metallic red, tropical yellow, pool blue, and kiwi green acrylic paint. These are the tangible tools that lead to my translucent truths.
