Through my series of imagined landscapes, I weave painting,
drawing, animation, and photography into fantastic visions informed
by the rolling countryside of my native Iowa and my annual visits
to Spain . Islands float in space and serve as both palaces and
prisons.
My work is continually in flux. I leave single compositions
on the wall of my studio for a month, or sometimes for years.
Like the actual landscapes from which they are derived, my imagined
landscapes await future development.
