Henry-Fisherman
Written and illustrated by Marcia Brown [New York: Charles Scribnerís Sons, 1949]

Henry-Fisherman, a Caldecott Honor Book, reflects Marcia Brownís life-long interest in presenting children with picture books that capture the sights and sounds of her personal travels. Henry-Fisherman stems from two summers that Brown spent on the island of St. Thomas. It is the story of Henry, a young fishermanís son, who manages to outswim a shark on his first fishing trip.
