The 2015 Artists of the Mohawk Hudson Region Juried Exhibition will be held July 9 through September 5 at the University Art Museum, University at Albany.  This annual exhibition is collaboratively sponsored by the University Art Museum, the Albany Institute of History & Art, and The Hyde Collection, Glens Falls.

  • Leah Morris

    Leah Morris is a current MFA candidate in sculpture at UAlbany. She completed her BFA in sculpture at Boston University in 2010. Before pursuing her Master's degree, Leah spent time working for AmeriCorps in Philadelphia, PA, as well as teaching studio art to middle school students in both Lake Placid, NY and Buffalo, NY. She spends the majority of her time making/viewing art and hanging out with her dog, Stevie Nicks.
  • Nora Petrucci

    Nora Petrucci is our current Art History Intern at the University’s Museum. She is double majoring in Communications and Art History with a minor in Business. Nora will be finishing up her senior year at the University at Albany and is expected to graduate May 2017. Nora is also the Director of IT for Albany Sports Business Organization, a Community Assistant for the World of Humanities L-LC and the Project Manager for the Division of Student Affairs Media Team. In her spare time she enjoys yoga, cooking, volunteering, drawing and trying new things! Some of her favorite artists are Frida Kahlo, Edgar Degas, Andy Warhol, and Georgia O'Keeffe. If you see her around the museum ask her about her favorite exhibition piece!
  • Noah Christiantelli

    Noah Christiantelli is a senior at the University at Albany. He will be graduating in the Fall of 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Rhetoric and a minor in Fine Arts. Noah enjoys drawing, photography, and hiking. He was recently inducted into the National Society of Leadership and Success and is an active member in the Ski and Snowboard Club. This past August I took a trip to Oregon and experienced the solar eclipse in the line of totality on 3 Fingered Jack in the Willamette National Forest.
  • Jaquelyn Mendez

    After completing her MA in Visual Art, Jaquelyn is continuing as an MFA student at the University at Albany. She's a cinephile, urban explorer, and amateur photographer. She also enjoys wasting hours of her time surfing Air B&B and planning possible future trips all over the globe; which she probably won't get done until she's in her late 40s, an empty nester, and actually has the funds to do so.
  • Sarah Noel

    Sarah is an English major with a minor in Communications in her second semester at University at Albany. She previously went to school at the State University of New York at Potsdam. She's a social media addict, zoo enthusiast, and lover of all things Christmas. She is obsessed with her handsome 9 year old pup, Harley, but can't forget to mention her other two adorable dogs Arya and Doofus.
  • Thomas Owen

    Thomas is majoring in Informatics and minoring in Cybersecurity. Thomas will be finishing up his senior year at the University at Albany and is expected to graduate May 2018. In his free time he talks with friends, volunteers for his local community, and loves to challenge himself with new activities.
