We were advised today by the Albany Police Department that a female University at Albany student was the victim of a sexual assault incident by an unknown male assailant. This occurred at approximately 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 7 on the 400 block of Washington Avenue in the city of Albany. The assailant is reported to be an Hispanic male, approximately 5�5��, wearing a red t-shirt. The assailant engaged in forcible touching; the victim was not raped and there was no weapon displayed. The Albany Police Department is investigating.
The physical description of the assailant in this incident is substantially different from the incident we reported to you last week. However, we implore you to be vigilant about your personal safety, whether on or off campus. The following precautions are a reminder of some of the things you can do to be proactive concerning your safety:

Don�t walk alone � travel with at least one other person or in groups |

Be aware of your surroundings |

Avoid isolated areas and dark places - always walk in well-lit areas |
