| A female reported to University Police yesterday that she was assaulted by two males in the area between Dutch Quad and the podium on the evening of Saturday, November 13, 2004 at approximately 10:40 pm. The victim is not able to describe the assailants. No weapon was displayed, but the victim sustained some physical injury. The victim was not raped.
If anyone witnessed this attack or has any information regarding this incident, please call UPD at 442-3131.
As part of the University Police Department�s on-going crime prevention effort, I ask students who are out at night to adhere to the following safety precautions:

If you absolutely must walk alone campus, call Don�t Walk Alone at 442-5511. If Don�t Walk Alone is not staffed at that time, call UPD at 442-3131 to accompany you |

Be aware of your surroundings; know where the nearest emergency blue light phone is located |

|
|
|
|
|

Avoid isolated areas |
|
|
|
|
|
|
● |
Walk in well lighted areas |
|
|
|
|
|
|

If possible, keep a cell phone handy in case of emergencies. From a cell phone on-campus, call 442-3131 to reach University Police. Off-campus, dial 911. |
