Darlene Cardillo's Bio

Darlene553@aol.com

Hi! You can find me in the LEARNING TECHNOLOGY LAB attached to a Mac designing web pages. Right now I'm busy putting research papers related to technology on the WWW. This summer I'll be teaching a course called HTML Authoring For Education.

I am a perennial student at the University of Albany. I have a BA in French, a MA in Secondary Education, a MS in Instructional Technology and am now pursuing a PhD in Educational Theory and Practice with a specialization in Language and Education/Instructional Technology - all degrees are from the University of Albany!!

In addition to studying and working in the LTL, I have been teaching French to high school students for a LONG time. I have also taught enrichment programs from time to time to elementary students. I am an active member of the New York State Association of Foreign Language Teachers (NYSAFLT) for which I have held numerous offices and given many workshops. Next year, I will be the chairperson of the technology committee.

To relax (yes, I do find the time) I play tennis. I play on both USTA and CSA teams as well as take lessons every weekend.
