UHS LIAISONS

 

The University in the High School (UHS) program is the University at Albany's presence in NY state's high schools.  Students may take language courses in high schools that participate in the program for University at Albany college credit.  This prepares students to pursue higher levels of coursework in their language(s) of choice when they come to the university. 

UHS liaisons are LLC department members who maintain regular contact with the high schools and high school teachers, provide instructional input and resources to the teachers, visit the schools and provide special opportunities for teachers and students to visit the University at Albany.
