The purpose of Quirky Questions is to produce a consolidated list of frequently asked questions, which are accompanied by short, easy answers, otherwise known as "sound bites". These are actual questions that have been asked of ESL and bilingual education teachers, graduate students, and student teachers in the field.

With these questions we have attempted to provide those interested in advocating for Limited English Proficient students with a guidebook to assist them. This list is a work in progress, and is by no means exhaustive; we are anticipating frequent updates by future LAP participants. We welcome the submission of additional questions.
