Oral Performance 1

Introducing myself in Korean (Fri., Oct. 6th)   

You will be given 3 minutes to introduce yourself in Korean including your name, nationality, accademic year, and what you like and/ or dislike.

Your speech must meet the following requirements:
1. The speech should be at least 7 sentences long including greetings.(nice to meet you, etc.); however, the expression of "hello" is not counted.
2. There should be at least one sentence with __

Your performance will be evaluated by the following categories: context, fluency, accuracy ,and the written script. The fluency will be given up to 20pts depending on your perfomance, and the rest will begiven 10pts each.

Context
1. The presentation includes all 4 requirements.      10 pts                                 
2. The performer missed one requirement.                 7 pts                               
3. The performer missed more than one requirement.    5 pts                  

Fluency (class level fluency)
1. The speaker's pronunciation is clear to understand. 20 pts                             
2. The speaker's pronunciation is somewhat clear to understand.  17 pts
3. The speaker's pronunciation is somewhat unclear, but the still understandable. 14pts
3. The speaker's pronunciation is hard to understand; communication fails     10pts

Accuracy I
1. The speaker's usage of grammar is accurate. 10 pts              
2. There are minor errers in the speech.            8 pts                   
3. There are too many errers in the speech.  5 pts                            

Written script: Accuracy and NEATNESS is very important.
1. The writing is no or few errors.     10 pts                
2. There are some spelling or grammatical errors.          7 pts
3.There are here are too many spelling or grammaticalerrors.                             5 pts
