·   What is the Kelly Conference?

The Edward F. Kelly Evaluation Conference is a graduate student organized regional evaluation conference, whose goal is to provide graduate students in the field of evaluation an opportunity to present original research and network with professionals in the field of evaluation. Each year the conference consists of two main components: A keynote address by a respected evaluator and presentations of student research. Keynote speaker of 2005 conference was W. James Popham, Ph.D., Professor Emeritus at UCLA.

 

·   Where and when is the Kelly Conference held?

Each year the Kelly Conference rotates among participating universities in the Northeastern United States and Southern Canada including Cornell, Queen's and Syracuse University, SUNY Albany, University of Ottawa, and OISE/UT. Nineteenth annual conference was held at the University at Albany, SUNY, in Albany, NY on April 1, 2005 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

 

·   Who attends the Kelly Conference?

Each year professionals in the field of evaluation and graduate students interested in the field of evaluation come together at the Kelly Conference. Two registration options was available in 2005. Full conference attendance, which included the full day of conference events including breakfast and lunch, was $35. Keynote address registration, which included a light breakfast and Dr. Popham’s keynote address, was $10.
