Judaic Studies Department
Jonathan Dickens
I came to Albany know that I was going to be a Jewish Studies major, and started taking courses in the department during my first semester at the University. Over time, I took such courses as Survey of Jewish Civilization, Modern Jewish Thought, Jewish Traditions and Practices, Bible as Literature, East European Jewry, and the Jews of Latin America. All of these classes I highly recommend.
I graduated in 2009 with a major in Judaic Studies and a minor in Hebrew. I have sinced moved to the Philadelphia area, where I am attending Gratz College: a dual Master's in Jewish Education and Jewish Communal Service.
