UAlbany Japan Relief Funds

In light of the devastation caused by the Japanese earthquake and its aftermath, the University at Albany is steadfast in fulfilling its mission of service by extending humanitarian assistance, support, and relief to the Japanese community.

The University has launched two relief initiatives for Japan:

  • The UAlbany Disaster Relief Fund for Japan will serve as a clearinghouse for humanitarian contributions made by and through the UAlbany community. Because of your generous support, University Auxiliary Services at Albany has reached its $25,000 matching goal as of May 4, 2011. We will continue to accept donations and distribute them evenly between the American Red Cross and Japan Society through June 30, 2011.
  • The UAlbany Student Relief Fund is an emergency fund set up to support UAlbany students who have been impacted by the tragedy in Japan.

Donations to these Funds will be accepted through June 30, 2011. You may contribute to either of these funds in the following ways:
