The Form to File service allows you to store data received from a HTML form
into a file within your
ITS UNIX account.
Each piece of information from a single submission of your form is placed on a single line
within your data file and is separated with a comma, or a tab, or is first quoted then separated with commas.
The Form to File process:
- User fills in your form and submits the data.
- Form to File script processes the data and writes the data to your data file.
- You extract the data and work with it in whichever environment you feel most
comfortable.
For example by importing into a spreadsheet, database, or statistical package.
