Information Technology Services (ITS) has upgraded UAlbany's Listserv installation from version 1.8d to version 14.4.

WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO DO?
You should not have to make any changes due to this upgrade.  Your Listserv list will still be available after the upgrade.

HOW DO YOU USE THE NEW VERSION?
Your list will still operate as before.  You will be able to send and receive messages to and from the list in the same way  as before.

You will still be able to access the web interface for Listserv at http://listserv.albany.edu:8080.  The interface will look different, but you will still be able to do the things you did before, and more.  The new web interface has much more functionality than the old one.

Please note that you will need to create a new Listserv Web Interface password for the new system, and there will be a link for you to do that on the web interface.

SOME IMPROVEMENTS IN THE NEW VERSION:
· Wizard tool to help you accomplish many common tasks with your lists
· Generate and view Reports on your lists
· Moderate your lists via the web interface
· View Changelog for your list
