Audio Visual Services [FAC Details]
What You Need
- A classroom scheduled for your use
- A Faculty/Staff SUNYCard
What You Get The Audio Visual office maintains an inventory of equipment that is commonly requested for classroom use. This includes overhead transparency projectors, slide projectors, VCR/DVD/Monitors and computer carts.
All of the registrar scheduled classrooms on the academic podium have an overhead projector and a DVD/VCR/Monitor permanently installed.
Several rooms on the uptown campus are “Technology Classrooms.” Not all Technology Classrooms are equipped identically. However each room does include a computer, podium, ceiling mounted LCD projector, VCR and laptop connections. Some of the Technology Classrooms also have a document camera. The link below will show you what’s available in each of the Technology Classrooms.

What Happens Next Faculty should contact the office directly at 442-3647 to request equipment. We ask that you give us as much lead time as possible with a minimum of 24 hours. We will do our best to honor last-minute requests. Bookings for standing orders of computer carts are limited to 2 weeks at a time.
How it Works The computer cart and LCD projector must be picked up by faculty who are required to leave their ID. Slide projectors, overheads and VCR/DVD/Monitors will be delivered, set up and picked up to accredited classes on the academic podium.
Training in the use of equipment is available by calling 442-3647.
Please report problems with the equipment or Technology Classrooms ASAP to the Audio Visual Office at 442-3647.
