ITS-provided services are accessed via the internet using a PC or Macintosh computer. Many vendors sell computer systems having the appropriate hardware and software; purchasing a vendor service contract is recommended. |

Access to WiUAlbany requires a wireless device that supports WPA, and authentication with your NetID and UNIX password. Get details for configuring UA_WPA. |

Computers available in Information Commons and Classrooms

 |
Computers running Windows XP, MS Office, and other software are available on the three campuses. Many students carry a USB flash drive to backup and store files (i.e. assignments, presentations, documents) they create using these computers. |

Information Technology Use by Students
