Proposals

Policy proposals are accepted from any member of the University community. The Office of the CIO needs detailed information in order to move a proposal forward. For more information, please contact cio@albany.edu. |

Process

Draft proposals are reviewed by the PRB Chair and the Office of the CIO. Those accepted for review are shared with a variety of stakeholders before the PRB makes a final recommendation. The President or Provost must approve all new policies. |

Membership

 |
The PRB is composed of faculty, staff and students. Membership is typically 8-12 individuals, including the chair. Interest or expertise in policy development and university governance are helpful. Undergraduates in the humanities are especially welcome. |

The PRB has two undergraduate and two graduate student members. All positions are currently filled, but there are other ways for students to participate. Contact cio@albany.edu for more information. |
