Beginning at approximately midnight (12:00 am) tonight (6/18-19), emergency work will begin to repair damage to the campus fiber links that carry Internet and East Campus traffic. The service interruption will last approximately 2-3 hours. The repairs are necessitated by the recent thunder storms and high winds. During this time, there will be no traffic between the East Campus and the Main Campus, and no Internet traffic to either site, including those satellite or offsite offices that use the University’s Internet links. Please adjust for any scheduled tasks that require Internet access during this emergency service interruption.
