Summary:  A new version (v1.1.3) of software has been made available from Apple that addresses three security vulnerabilities in its popular iPhone and iPod touch products.   Visitation of a malicious website or unauthorized access to the products are the most likely mechanisms of exploit for these vulnerabilities and could result in disclosure of personal information, system crash, or system takeover. 

Recommended Actions:  Version 1.1.3 of iPhone/iPod touch software is available via iTunes.  iPhone and iPod touch users are encouraged to read the security bulletin (safe link provided below) and follow the instructions contained in the bulletin to download and install the new software version as soon as possible.
