Summary: Adobe Systems Inc has recently released version 7.0.8 or its popular Acrobat Reader. According to the vendor, 7.0.8 includes "several security bug fixes", including "one considered critical for Macintosh OS and several considered to have a low rating for windows". At the time of this writing (4:15 PM, 6/21/06) no exploit(s) for the vulnerabilities addressed by this latest version of Acrobat are known to be circulating in the wild.
Recommended Actions: As a precautionary measure, Windows/Mac System Administrators and other Support Personnel/end users are encouraged to upgrade their Acrobat readers to v 7.0.8 at their earliest convenience.
