Two outages have been scheduled on June 7, 2008 in the University Data Center.  There will be an electrical outage from midnight to noon and a maintenance outage on the University’s main disk storage device from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  These outages are needed for ongoing work to  improve the Data Center facility.

During these outages many ITS enterprise services (e.g. MyUAlbany, Information Commons workstations, departmental and personal folders, UA Blackberry service) will be unavailable.   For a full list of services that will be affected please click here.   

This date and times were chosen to minimize inconvenience to the campus community.  Please note that we have taken steps to ensure that several key services will be available during the outages: the University network, main University web pages (for viewing only), Blackboard and Unix Webmail services.   

Exchange/Outlook will also be available except for two 30-minute service interruptions as follows:

June 6, 2008 from 6:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
June 7, 2008 from 4:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
