Troubleshooting Outlook Web Access
(OWA) 2003
With
the default installation of Opera, OWA will not appear properly. To make Opera
work with Exchange 2003, press the F12 key
on your keyboard and set Opera to
Identify as Opera.
The
spell check tool (in Internet Explorer) only checks the spelling of the body of
the message. If you wish to check the spelling in the subject, you need to
right-click the subject line and select Check
Spelling.
While
you can update your own calendar in OWA, you cannot make additions/changes to
calendars in public folders.
Only
server side rules can be created. The Rules
function is only available through Internet Explorer.
Archiving
is not available with the web interface.
When
you click on Public Folders, a new
window opens. This window has a Log Off
button. If you click the Log Off
button in the Public Folders window, you will be logged off, but the Folder
List screen remains. You should exit
from the browser or close this window.
Clicking on To:
to bring up the addressbook will display a window that is not populated with
names. You must enter search
criteria and click Find before names
will appear.
