The New York IT Leadership Academy inducted University at Albany Chief Information Officer Christine E. Haile into its Leadership Hall of Fame and honored Carole Sweeton, director of Client Support Services, with an IT Manager of the Year Award at the Academy's annual event at the Desmond Hotel in Albany. Go for the Gold!
The UAlbany Data Center has received LEED Gold certification! Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) references the rating system for the design, construction, operation and maintenance of green buildings. Four levels of certification are available: Certified, Silver, Gold and Platinum. While the data center was minimally expected to meet the Silver standard, achieving LEED Gold is a significant accomplishment.
UAlbany Data Center Receives Tier III Certification
It's official! The University at Albany has been awarded Tier III Certification for both design and construction of our new Data Center. UAlbany is the only academic institution in the United States to receive this prestigious certification in these two categories. Read more.
