 Malware Deletion/Removal Utility

  Free for Personal use

Description of Pocket Killbox:
Pocket Killbox is a process killer that also incorporates some of the functionality of "inuse.exe", but in a GUI. This allows you to delete a file that is in use, or replace its contents with those of another file. Normally, Windows prevents you from modifying a file that is being used. This is a feature that malware exploits fully. As long as it's running, you can't remove it. Pocket Killbox can also list system processes and services, and open the local hosts file.

Basic Instructions for use:
Download, unzip, and run the file. You will see a window pop-up asking for the full path of the file to delete. You can use the browse feature (by clicking on the folder icon) to locate the file. Next, you can show the file properties, or you can delete the file. Be sure that the file you are deleting is in fact malware, as it may not be recoverable once it's deleted.

Please use this utility carefully. Deleting an important file may prevent Windows from booting properly. Also, modifying the hosts file incorrectly may cause web-site connection problems.
