Summary: Google has released version 1.0.154.64 of its popular Chrome web browser. This update fixes two vulnerabilities (one of which is listed by the vendor as "high", the other as "critical").
Recommended Actions: Chrome users/System Administrators are encouraged to read the security bulletin and install the necessary security update as soon as possible (safe links provided below).
NOTE: Depending on your setup preferences, Chrome (on Windows) may or may not be set to automatically find and apply updates.
If you are unsure of your browser's settings (or wish to control installation of updates) you should follow this procedure:
-Click on the wrench icon ('customize and control google chrome') in the upper right section of the toolbar.
-Select 'about google chrome'.
When you select this option a new popup window appears. At the same time as the window appears chrome will check for and apply the latest update. Depending upon the speed of your system/connection you may be able to see this progress at the bottom of the popup screen. A message at the bottom of the popup window will let you know if the browser software is up to date.
