Summary: On March 24 2009 Adobe systems released updated versions of its popular Reader application for Linux and Solaris systems.  These updates fix a critical vulnerability in the handling of PDF documents that was detailed in ALARM alerts 022009-01 and 031109-01. 

Recommended Actions:  Adobe Reader (Linux and Solaris) users are encouraged to read the security bulletin and apply the update as soon as possible.
