Attention: Foxit users, System Administrators, Desktop Support Personnel.

Summary: Foxit Software has released version 3 of its popular PDF reader application.  Foxit Reader 3.0 includes fixes for three security vulnerabilities which could be exploited by the handling of maliciously-crafted PDF files.

Recommended Actions:  Foxit users are encouraged to read the advisory and apply the update at their earliest convenience.

NOTE: Early versions of Foxit do not have provisions for checking/installing new versions of the software.  Downloading Foxit 3.0 directly from the Foxit website is the recommended method of upgrading this application.
