Summary: Opera Software ASA has released the latest version of its popular web browser.  In addition to various functional improvements, Opera version 9.64 includes fixes for 18 security-related issues.  According to the vendor, "Opera 9.64 is a recommended security and stability upgrade, incorporating the Opera Presto 2.1.1 user agent engine. Opera highly recommends all users to upgrade to Opera 9.64 to take advantage of these improvements."

Recommended Actions:  Opera users/system administrators are encouraged to read the advisory and apply the update at their earliest convenience.

NOTE: Users can check for updates from within the browser by choosing Help > Check For Updates in the toolbar.  An update is also available via direct download from the Opera website.
