Summary:  On August 15, 2005 Apple released security update 2005-007. This update addresses 24 different vulnerabilities that include remote execution of arbitrary code, denial of service, and root compromise. The vulnerabilites affect a range of services and applications including Safari, MySQL and SSL.

Recommended Actions:  OS X system managers and support personnel are encouraged to read the update (including all potential caveats) and (if appropriate) apply it immediately as per the instructions provided by the vendor.
