Summary: On July 12 2005, The Mozilla Foundation announced the release of a new version (1.0.5) of its popular FireFox web browser and Thunderbird Email clients. This new release addresses a number of known vulnerabilities in both products (including a total of 5 listed as "critical" by the vendor).Recommended Actions: Persons who manage, maintain or use FireFox/Thunderbird are encouraged to read the update information (including any associated caveats, system requirements, etc) and (if appropriate) apply the upgrade(s) immediately as per the instructions provided by the vendor.
