Summary:  Microsoft has released an Update Rollup package for Windows 2000 Systems using Service Pack 4 (SP4). The date of release for this package was June 28, 2005. The Update Rollup Package includes some updated versions of files released in previous hotfixes, New fixes not previously released (including some related to security issues), and other associated files/fixes (released on previous dates). Microsoft recommends the installation of this Update Rollup package on all applicable installations of Windows 2000 SP4 (including those previously considered to be up-to-date for all hotfixes and security patches).

Recommended Actions:  Windows 2000 system administrators and support personnel are encouraged to read the materials provided by the vendor (including all acknowledged caveats) and (if applicable and/or after appropriate testing) apply this Update Rollup package at their earliest convenience.

ITS Actions:  At this time, The ITS Systems Management Operations Group is evaluating this Update Rollout package for its' Windows 2000 Server population.
