Summary:  In addition to its monthly bulletin release, Microsoft re-released two 2005 security bulletins on April 12. The two re-releases (MS05-002 and -009) are both deemd 'critical' by the vendor and pertain to stability/installation/vulnerability issues associated with a variety of Operating systems and popular software applications.

Recommended Actions:  Windows system managers and support personnel are encouraged to read the re-release bulletins MS05-002 and MS05-009 (including all potential caveats) and (if appropriate) apply the patches immediately as per the instructions detailed in the bulletins.

ITS Actions:  ITS Systems Management and Operations Staff will apply the patches to the appropriate ITS severs as soon as patch testing is complete.
