UNIX Cluster Outage on April 9
The unix cluster file server (LEAH) will be down Friday April 9 from 7am until noon in order to upgrade the operating system to Solaris 9, as well as to upgrade the disk volume manager software and backup software.
As a result, the only unix services that WILL be available during this time are the following:
- mail via webmail, and remote pop and imap clients
- read only access to all the main university web pages except the tilde pages located in user home directories (the latter will not be available at all)
- webct
- ldap for authentication for services not affected (e.g. netreg, webct, library proxy, etc.)
