Network Shutdown on 1/4/2004
On Sunday, January 4th from 8:00 AM until 6:00 PM, the University network will be down for an upgrade of the Cisco 6513 Core Router. The purpose of the upgrade is to unify the operating system of the router to increase functionality.
All network connectivity will be down during this changeover.
This date was chosen so as to minimize the impact on our customers. If you have jobs or initiatives that are scheduled for this timeframe and they cannot easily be changed, please let Don Gallerie know as soon as possible. Otherwise, please plan your work accordingly.
