Summary: On September 21 2005, The Mozilla Foundation announced the release of a new version (1.0.7) of its popular FireFox web browser. This new version of Firefox is listed by the vendor as a "security and stability release". It addresses a number of known vulnerabilities in the browser and other stability-related issues.

Recommended Actions: Persons who manage, maintain or use FireFox are encouraged to read the update information (including any associated caveats, system requirements, etc) and (if appropriate) apply the upgrade immediately as per the instructions provided by the vendor.
