Customer/technical support position with ITS Desktop Services, working on the Univeraity at Albany Uptown Campus. Commitment is for the Spring 2007 Semester only.
Requirements:
- Strong people and customer service skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Have a good understanding of basic PC troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and to understand and research problems
- Available for 20 hours per week during normal business hours (M-F 9am-5pm)
Duties:
- Configure and setup PCs in an Active Directory domain
- Troubleshoot Windows and MS Office applications
- Configure Microsoft Outlook in an Exchange Environment
- Setup and Configure devices such as printers, scanners and handheld devices
- Other duties which assist in the ITS support of the Uptown Campus
Eligibility: Currently enrolled in a full-time degree-granting graduate program at UAlbany
Hours: 20 hours per week.
Salary: Partial tuition waiver and semester stipend.
