Chris Bose has been invited to present the paper, "Labor Markets and Household Composition: Components Regulating Women's Life Course," at the second International Symposium of Sfb 186, University of Bremen, Germany in February 1991. She also presented a paper on "Informal Economic Activities of Women" at the Seminar on Statistics and Indicators on Women in Puerto Rico, Universidad del Sagrado Corazon in October 1990.
Linda Nicholson (Educational Administration and Policy Studies; Women's Studies) has been invited to present a paper at the conference "Who's Afraid of Femininity? Questions of Identity" at the University of Nijmegan, the Netherlands in February 1991 and to present the paper "The Politics of Gender" at the University of Amsterdam in May 1991.
Glenna Spitze gave presentations on her research with John Logan on intergenerational relations at the August 1990 American Sociological Association and the November 1990 Gerontological Society of America meetings.
