Counseling Center brings World AIDS Week to UAlbany November 28-December
1, 2005.
Monday, 11/28:
- Interactive
AIDS Exhibit - Come out and play the "Just Say Know"
game. Answer a question about AIDS and win a prize! Campus Center
Lobby. 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- "Crushing The Flower" -
Six beautiful examples of acceptance and the triumph of the human spirit,
aiming at AIDS awareness. Indian Quad Penthouse. 8:00 p.m.
Tuesday, 11/29:
- Interactive
AIDS Exhibit - Come out and play the "Just Say Know"
game. Answer a question about AIDS and win a prize! Campus Center
Lobby. 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m..
- "The
J-Spot: A Sex Educator Tells All" - Jay Friedman,
an award winning sex educator presents a "sexual state of affairs"
address on where we've been, where we are, and where we're headed sexually-with
the ultimate goal of helping everyone enjoy healthier relationships.
Powerful, poignant, provocative, thought-provoking and challenging are
regular reviews of Jay’s performance. Jay has repeatedly won awards
as “Lecturer of the Year.” Campus Center Ballroom. 8:00
p.m.
