Speak For Relief "Speak for Relief" is a 24-hour reading to benefit the victims of Hurricane Katrina, that will be held from 1pm on Friday, November 11th to 1pm on Saturday, November 12th in front of the Campus Center small fountain. In walk-a-thon style, donors sponsor minutes (instead of miles), each at $1. The dollar(s) also gives the individual the chance to request what is read and whether it is read personally. Hot chocolate and donuts will be provided. Sponsors and readers are needed. To get involved or support the event, visit the table in the Campus Center Lobby during the week of November 7th. Donations will also be accepted on site. For more info, contact spreadtheword.ua@gmail.com. Co-sponsored by Spread the Word and Theatre Council. All proceeds will be donated to Habitat for Humanity.
