Multicultural Men’s Forum: Raising Men to Higher Standards The 2008 Multicultural Men’s Forum seeks to celebrate the collective progress of men by tapping into their reality and encouraging participants to take a closer look at their own interactions with one another. By delving into the holistic health and wellness of our being, we will explore male relationships, gain financial empowerment, and strive for raising men to higher standards. The program features several University at Albany alumni who continue to work within the University in different departments, but still continue to remain influential to current UAlbany students and incoming students of all cultures. These gentlemen are John Murphy, Jason Benitez, Michael Christakis, Christopher Fernando, Craig Brewer, and the Master of Ceremony – D. Ekow King. This powerhouse panel is also backed by some of today’s leaders at UAlbany who represent the influential leaders and alumni of tomorrow. Our student panel members, similar to our alumni panel, have already made an impact on their UAlbany community extending their reach through various departments at the University at Albany. Guests attending the program will be enlightened by a wealth of knowledge cover such topics as Education, Networking, Student Success/Involvement, Financial Empowerment, Relationships and other topics that will help UAlbany men see that they can achieve higher goals and expectations from other males just like them. Guests will also be served food and drinks for their refreshment. Come out and enjoy an evening in the company of productive UAlbany men on October 29, 2008 from 6-9pm in the University Hall 1st floor Atrium.
