American Heart Association Heart Walk The University at Albany is proud to participate in the American Heart Association Capital Region Heart Walk on October 14th at the Crossings of Colonie. The event holds special importance for us this year - the American Heart Association plans to honor President Kermit Hall at this year's Walk with a few words, as he was to serve as honorary chair of the Heart Walk in 2007. Walkers, volunteers, and supporters are needed! This is a great opportunity for us to come together and show the people of this area that the University at Albany cares about our neighbors in the Capital Region. A bus will leave Collins Circle at 9:00am and the Walk steps off at 10:00am. Enjoy refreshments by Subway afterward then take the bus back to campus at 11:45am.
