Cultural Carnivale Student Association's annual Cultural Carnivale is set for Saturday, October 7th from Noon until 5pm on Collins Circle. Enjoy music from Money Talks Entertainment as well as live performances, plus cultural dances by the African Student Association and Albany State Indian Alliance, and a dancehall competition hosted by Pan-Caribbean Association. Take your shot at go-karts, lazer tag, a rock climbing wall, bouncy boxing, air volleyball, big trike racing, sumo wrestling, and a gyroscope. (Activities run until 4pm.) And...if you're not registered to vote yet, NYPIRG will have voter registration forms on site. Sponsored by Student Association, this event is in conjunction with all UAlbany cultural groups along with Amnesty International and NYPIRG. |
