How to Create an Aids Walk Team in 3 easy steps

 

Step 1) Create a team name.

 

Step 2) Gather the following information from all interested participants. Also denote the individual responsible for leading the team’s participation in this event.

1)     Names

2)     Address

3)     Phone

4)     Email

 

Step 3) Email that information to James Blevins at JBlevins@UAmail.albany.edu

Congratulations, your team has been created!!!!!

 

What your Team Should do After You are Registered

 

Step 1) Raise as much money as your team possibly can either from your own teammate or outside fundraising. The National AIDS Fund will contribute $1 for every $2 that the AIDS Walk collects, so every cent counts!

 

Step 2) Email James Blevins before Friday September 25th to establish a time for him to collect your team’s donation.

*note: If you are collecting funds from outside your group you may use the sponsor sheet to gather information on those who contributed if you feel the need to do so. (Thank you cards are always a nice gesture)

 

Step 3) Your Team wears its favorite purple and gold as they attend the AIDS Walk on September 27th at 1pm in Washington Park

            *note: If your team was not able to raise any money it’s okay. The AIDS Walk’s mission is also to raise awareness. There is a great value in your presence alone, so please still attend
