Hurricane Katrina Relief As you know, Hurricane Katrina has affected many people across several states and communities. To provide support to help victims rebuild their lives and communities, the University at Albany is spearheading a special campus drive to support the relief effort. Since financial support has been identified as the greatest need, we are seeking financial donations, not goods. We will forward 100% of funds raised to a number of relief organizations, including the American Red Cross and the Northeast Regional Food Bank/America’s Second Harvest. You can find more information about our campus efforts on our University website. Tables have been reserved in the Campus Center Lobby for those students or student organizations interested in collecting contributions for the relief effort. Please visit the Office of Student Involvement & Leadership (CC 130) to sign up. Tables are available from 9/6-9/9 and 9/12-9/16 from 8:30am to 5:00pm.
