Feeling the need for some friendly competition? Want to
meet new people and get some exercise?
The Intramural (IM) Sports Program offers the opportunity
for students at the University at Albany to participate together in sports
leagues and tournaments. Although friendly and spirited competition is
certainly a part of the Intramural Sports Program, the opportunity to
recreate in a safe, organized, welcoming, and comfortable environment
are the program’s highest priorities. No experience is necessary
and all students are encouraged to participate.
REGISTRATION
• Pick-up a registration form for your favorite sport at the Student
Association Office (Campus Center 116).
• Return all registration forms and payments to the Student Association
Office prior to registration deadlines.
• Checks, money orders, and credit cards accepted. Cash is NOT accepted.
• Team Captains will be conducted shortly after the registration
deadline with further information.
FREE AGENTS
Students are encouraged to form their own team or find a team themselves.
Realizing that this is not always possible and that IM Sports are a great
way to meet people, the IM Sports Program encourages individuals who do
not belong to a team to come to visit the Student Association Office and
complete an Intramural Free Agent Form. Every effort will be made to find
Free Agents a team.
OFFICIAL BUSINESS
Officiating IM Sports is a fun way to meet people, get exercise, and earn
some extra cash. If you are ready to experience sports in a whole new
way stop by one, or all, of the following Officials Meetings. Students
may even officiate and participate during the same season (just not at
