Clash of the Quads Returns! Defending champion Indian Quad will face off against the competition at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, at Collins Circle in the ever-expanding student activity, Clash of the Quads. More than 1,000 students are expected to turn out this year for the exciting contest that pits one quad against another, as teams vie to take home the trophy. Now is the time to get out your face paints and dream up designs for your quad banner. It’s the banner your team will take into battle. “Students spend days working on banners, face painting, and other identifying features associated with the quads,” said Laurie Garafola, Director of Residential Life. “There is a real camaraderie that you feel when you watch each group take the field in their quad-specific colors. It truly is a great event.” A sampling of the activities includes:
The first 700 people to register will receive $2 bills!! Students interested in participating should meet their quad in the archway at 12:45 p.m. to walk over to Collins Circle. Clash of the Quads is hosted by the Department of
Residential Life, University Auxiliary Services, and the Division of Student
