Senior Salute
Each semester the University community comes together
to honor our graduating senior class before Commencement Day. On April
17, 2007 from 11a.m-1:30p.m and from 4p.m to 6p.m, in the lower level
of the Campus Center, we will once again do so by hosting the Senior Salute.
This event is an opportunity for every senior to get ready for Commencement,
by making it easy to purchase all of your graduation necessities at one
time.
Seniors, you will be able to purchase graduation regalia,
through the University Bookstore, and graduation announcements, class
rings and diploma frames from a variety of vendors. You will have an opportunity
to ask questions about the Commencement Ceremony and about the Torch,
the University at Albany yearbook. You will also be able to get information
about joining the Alumni Association and about alumni discounts through
companies like Liberty Mutual. The Career
Development Center will be on hand with important career information
and you can learn how to consolidate your academic loans through Collegiate
Funding Services. Let’s not forget that while you are there you
can leave your legacy by donating to the Senior Gift. Last but not least,
every graduating senior who attends will have an opportunity to enter
to win one of many raffle prizes. We hope to see you there. Congratulations
Class of 2007!
