Middle Earth Needs YOU Middle Earth, a nationally recognized organization that provides services to the University at Albany community through a student-staffed hotline and outreach programs, is currently recruiting for the Fall 2005 Middle Earth Training Class. One of their most well-known features is the Middle Earth Players, a group of peer educators who utilize theater to educate the community on issues related to alcohol and other drug prevention, relationships, adjustment to college life and diversity and multiculturalism. Middle Earth is an excellent avenue for students to gain experience and preparation for careers in psychology, social work, teaching, medicine, communication and other related fields. Anyone can apply, regardless of his or her major. Course credit is available through ECPY 400, 403, 404, 405, and 497 within the Department of Educational and Counseling Psychology.
