2007 North Eastern United States LGBT Conference The 2007 North Eastern United States LGBT Conference is being held at UAlbany April 13-14, 2007. Friday kicks-off with registration at 5pm followed by two amazing queercore bands, Triple Creme and The Dead Betties (door open at 7:45pm). Saturday registration begins at 9am and workshops follow from 10am to 5pm. Speakers include:
This year's keynote speaker for Saturday evening will be Leslie Feinberg, a well-known transgender activist and author of Stone Butch Blues, Transgender Warriors, and more. Doors open at 6:30pm; pre-registration or an early arrival is strongly encouraged! RSVP now as space is limited! Free admission for UAlbany students with SUNYCard; $5 dollar registration fee for non-UAlbany students.
